1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet Live on Bring a Trailer
Grand Prix White over Pearl White leather, with the G50 five-speed layout that defines the later 3.2 Carrera driving experience.
Motive Archive is representing this 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, now live on Bring a Trailer. Finished in Grand Prix White over Pearl White leather, the car shows 132k miles and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle.
The auction ends Monday, June 8 at 10:25 a.m. Pacific time.
The full side profile keeps the late-1980s Carrera proportions clear: compact bumpers, upright glass, body-color Fuchs wheels, and the dark blue soft top folded behind the cabin.
Equipment includes 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels with body-color centers, a dark blue soft top, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, power windows and locks, R134a-based air conditioning, a Viper alarm, and a disconnected Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 cassette stereo.
From the rear, the car shows the Carrera decklid script, full-width taillight panel, black bumper guards, and folded soft top.
Factory option codes include L908 Grand Prix White, NG Pearl White leather, C02 USA equipment, 158 Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 cassette stereo, 348 white-painted Fuchs wheel centers, 395 16-inch Fuchs forged alloy wheels, and 454 cruise control.
The Pearl White cabin pairs power-adjustable front seats with a black dashboard, three-spoke steering wheel, and manual shifter.
Service in 2024 included spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, DME relay, battery, oxygen sensor, and G50 transaxle fluid. The sale package includes service records, manufacturer literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the owner name.
Body-color 16-inch Fuchs wheels are part of the visual identity of this example.
The replacement dark blue soft top gives the white-over-white cabriolet a subtle contrast point.
The Carfax lists very minor damage from an October 2013 rear-end collision, and paintless dent repair was performed in April 2026.
A rolling view rounds out the studio set and shows the car with the soft top down in motion.
