Now Live: 1969 Plymouth GTX Convertible on Bring a Trailer
Motive Archive is proud to present a standout example of Mopar muscle, now live on Bring a Trailer.
This 1969 Plymouth GTX Convertible is one of just 700 produced for the model year and represents the pinnacle of Chrysler’s performance offerings for the era. Finished in factory-correct Scorch Red over black vinyl with a matching power-operated top, this restored drop-top radiates showroom-quality appeal.
Under the hood lies a 440ci Super Commando V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission, with a Track Pack option and Dana 60 rear end, ensuring period-correct muscle credentials. Refurbished in 2002 and sparingly driven since, the car remains a clean and well-preserved example of its kind.
Listed with service records and a clean Illinois title, the GTX is currently offered on Bring a Trailer with the auction ending Monday, May 19.
